Terms and ConditionsBy booking you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully and if you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch at the time of booking.
-
Securing Your Wedding DateTo secure your wedding date a booking fee is required. This booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable and will be deducted from your final balance. Deposits are paid via bank transfer only. Once the deposit is paid, the remaining balance is due 3 weeks prior to the day of the wedding if paying via bank transfer. The final balance can be paid via cash on the wedding day if previously agreed. If you are booking your bridal makeup within 3 weeks of the wedding date, full payment is to be made within 48 hours of confirmation.
-
Bridal BookingsFor all bridal bookings, there is a minimum charge of £300. Once your wedding date is secured and final numbers have been agreed, the overall cost for the wedding makeup is fixed. If bridal party numbers are reduced after your wedding is secured, the final balance originally agreed at the time of booking remains the same. Appointments can not be subtracted once a booking is confirmed and scheduled. If you do wish to add on to your booking, all requests must be sent to my email address – info@emmahartleymakeup.co.uk and extra charges will apply. Additional appointments on the wedding day will be added at my discretion. If you have booked for a certain amount of bridal party members and I feel I am not able to complete any extra makeups on the day I have the right to refuse.
-
Changes To LocationUpon booking your wedding, I will need to know where yourself and your bridal party will be getting ready on the morning. I will need to know the time you need to be ready for and what time I can access the venue from. The venue must have accessible parking. If you do not know where you will be getting ready on the morning of your wedding day, then this needs to be stated when initially enquiring. Once you have found a location, I need to be told as soon as possible so I can work out the morning schedule. Any changes to the venue or multiple locations needed on the wedding morning, may result in extra charges and must be mentioned when initially enquiring as soon as possible thereafter.
-
ParkingVenues must have accessible parking. If you are unsure where you are getting ready on the morning of your wedding day, please ensure that you book accommodation with accessible parking on site or very close to the location. I have the right to refuse/ cancel if I feel the car park is too far from the hotel and this would affect timings etc on the day.
-
TrialsI recommend having a trial before your wedding day. Trials are held at my home studio during the week in High Crompton, Shaw. Should you require a Saturday trial this must be specified as early as possible and arranged with plenty of notice. I am booked up most Saturdays for weddings so Saturday trial appointments cannot be guaranteed. I would recommend having your trial 2-4 months before your wedding date. If you would like a trial sooner, please specify at the time of booking and I will do my best to accommodate. If you are having a trial without securing your date, please note that the date you require may have been booked in the time before your trial. Please allow 1-2 hours for your trial. If you are wanting to try two completely different looks I would recommend booking two trials. One trial is enough if you have one look or two similar looks with slight adjustments.
-
CancellationsI understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to cancel your trial or wedding booking. However, this can have a significant impact on a small business. Therefore, I have a cancellation policy in place to ensure that I can continue providing my services and maintain my commitment to my clients. In the event you need to cancel your wedding day the deposit will not be refunded, if you have had your trial this also will not be refunded, as the service has already been provided. Wedding cancellations must be made at least one month prior to the wedding day or the full amount must be paid. A deposit per person (for each member of the bridal party) must be paid for trials and these are non-refundable. If there is a cancellation, please tell me with as much notice as possible so I can try and fill the booking space.
-
PricesPrices are subject to change. If you have been given a quote and your deposit has NOT been paid, then should prices change, your previous price will be void and you will be charged at the new prices.
-
LiabilityPlease ensure that I am made aware of any allergies and illnesses that may cause a reaction from any cosmetic product being applied. Should you fail to mention this prior to treatment then I will not be held responsible for any reactions that occur. Any allergies or skin conditions must be reported to myself prior to the trial and wedding day. If needs be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. I am not held responsible for any skin complications due to allergic reactions. I have the right to refuse treatment to anyone suffering from anything that will compromise the health and safety of my products, tools or myself - for example cold sores, conjunctivitis etc. In the unlikely event that I have to cancel your booking, I will do my upmost to find an equally skilled artist to replace me and your deposit / payment will be refunded.
-
PhotographsIf time allows, I may ask to take photographs for use on social media and my website. No wedding trial pictures will appear on social media prior to the wedding. I ask that any photos taken by the photographer credit myself as the makeup artist. Once you have received your professional photos back, if you are happy for me to display them on my page or website then please email me info@emmahartleymakeup.co.uk If you would not like me to use photos (both professional or from phones) please ensure you make this clear.
