Securing Your Wedding Date

Dates will only be secured once a non-refundable £50 deposit has been paid.

The deposit paid will then be deducted from the total price leaving the remaining balance to be paid closer to the wedding date.

Deposits are to be paid by bank transfer only.

 

Changes To Bridal Bookings

If you do wish to add on to your booking, all requests must be sent to info@emmahartleymakeup.co.uk and extra charges will apply.

Should there be a change of venue/ address this may result in extra charges for travel costs. If your makeup will be being done at more than one location on the day this will need to be mentioned when initially enquiring.

Once your wedding date is secured and I have given you a total cost, should the bridal party then reduce in numbers the price that was originally quoted will remain the same.

 

Trials

I recommend having a trial before your wedding day. Trials are held at my home studio during the week. Should you require a Saturday for your trial, this must be specified as early as possible. I am booked up most Saturdays for weddings so Saturday trial appointments can not always be guaranteed.

I would recommend having your trial 2-3 months before your wedding date.  If you would like a trial sooner, this must be specified and I can check my availability.

I also do trials for bridesmaids and MOB – I would prefer if possible for these to be done on the same day as the bridal trial. If you would like to book your makeup in for your hen do with your bridal party, this must be booked in advance and can not be guaranteed if a wedding is requested/ booked on that particular date.

If you are having a trial without securing your date, please note that the date you require may have been booked in the time before your trial.

Please allow up to 2 hours for your trial, this is the time to perfect your look and make any adjustments.

 

Cancellations

In the event you need to cancel your wedding the deposit will not be refunded. If you have had your trial this also will not be refunded, as the service has already been provided.

If in the highly unlikely event that I may need to cancel my services, a refund would be given for services not carried out.  I would also do my absolute best to provide a suitable replacement artist to carry out the services.

 

Prices

Prices are subject to change.

If you have been given a quote and your deposit has been paid, your prices will not be affected.

If however, you have been given a quote and your deposit has not been made, then should my prices change your original quote will be void and I will then re-quote.

 

Allergies

It is the clients responsibility to ensure that I am made aware of any allergies and illnesses that may cause a reaction from any cosmetic product being applied. Should you fail to mention this prior to treatment then I will not be held responsible for any reactions that occur.

I am not liable for any conditions that arise if I have not been informed of any known conditions as stated above or any conditions unknown to the client at the time of service.

I have the right to refuse treatment to anyone suffering from anything that will compromise the health and safety of my products, tools or myself for example cold sores, conjunctivitis etc.

 

Photographs

If time allows, I may ask to take photographs these will be used on social media and my website.

No wedding trial pictures will appear on either social media or my website prior to the wedding.

Also once you have received your professional photos back, if you are happy for me to display them on my website or social media then please email the photos to me at info@emmahartleymakeup.co.uk

If professional photos or own photos are not to be used please ensure this is made clear to me.
